Hey i have to write this speech and im stuck it needs to be 2 mins 30 secs ive got to two mins but now im stuck i need to fill thirty sec but how what could i say or add Thanks sooo muchHello my name is.. And I’m a male slave, I sold myself into slavery to escape poverty, this was a last resort choice for some Egyptians like me, and the cause of few Egyptian slaves. Most other slaves were prisoners of war, captured and brought back to our country to work; others were sold from their countries for example many slaves can from Kush and Libya. Us slaves are like a piece of property we can be bought, sold and traded, we can also if accumulated enough money can buy ourselves from our master which is very unlikely since we are very poor, I still hope to one day though. Most slaves are never set freeI work for the pharaoh. The pharaoh’s job is to Egyptian kilt Patterns run and keep order in Egypt. It is my job to cook, clean, serve, wash clothes and pamper the pharaoh, I have to be very careful with what I do or say around the pharaoh, if I do or say the smallest thing wrong he can and will most likely kill me. Household slaves like me are only found in Pharaohs and nobles homes. I have a rather good job compared to other slaves, the hardest job for a slave is working in mines, quarries and on land, pyramids and buildings, slaves that work in mines and quarries usually and embarrassingly enough go naked. Household slaves usually wear small linen kilts and the female slaves a dress extending from their shoulders to the knees or ankles. We are usually not fed well or dressed well, but at least it something. I should mention that some slaves are abused in ways I’d rather not mention.Though we are at the bottom of society and are treated horribly at times many of us slaves had a good life compared to other civilizations like Rome. But instead of being a slave I would really like to be scribe, as a child my family was too poor to send me to school, and it is a bit late now, but if I were a scribe, who could read and write,I would have my own money and riches, I wouldn’t have to work in the pharaohs temple all day washing and tending to the pharaoh and his wives and children.There is also another theory on whether I was a slave at all. Historians say that I was a farmer or some other type of laborer and I was employed in the flood season to work on pyramids and buildings., I would give my labour as a form of tax. They say this beacause they had found tomb near the pyramids, the tomb suggested that I could not be slave but a worker or farmer. But it is up to you to choose which story you think is true
